January 26, 2009 Trinity Development's The Modern Approved by West Palm Beach
WEST PALM BEACH, FL – The Modern residential condominium by Trinity Development Group has been approved by the City Commission of West Palm Beach, Florida. The luxury condominium is designed for 24 stories at a height of 299 feet along the Intracoastal Waterway near downtown and is the first LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) certified condominium project approved by the City of West Palm Beach. All parking on the .83 acre site will be underground and water reclaimed.
As the attorney on the development team, Michael Weeks, Esq. and the project's architects, engineers and land planners guided the project through months of submissions, planning board hearings and ultimately the city commission meeting at which it was approved. The Modern will replace the hurricane damaged 1515 Building, built in 1972 and which must first be demolished.
